Statement of Faith

God has always existed.

God created and rules the universe.

God exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ was the son of the Virgin Mary and the Son of God.

Jesus Christ is co-equal with God the Father.

Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross.

Jesus arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death.

Jesus ascended to heaven and will return to earth some day to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Holy Spirit lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation.

The Bible is inspired by God; it is the supreme source of truth for faith and living.

Human beings are born radically corrupted by sin.

Only by trusting Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

When people die, they enter an eternal destination (either heaven or hell) based on their relation to sin.

When a person's sins are forgiven through faith in Jesus, s/he will live forever with God in heaven.

People who choose not to trust in Jesus as the sin forgiver will live forever in hell.
